Terms of Service

Effective date: December 30, 2025

These Terms of Service govern your use of CakeSocial. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using CakeSocial on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use CakeSocial.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and access to your workspace.
  • Keep your account information accurate and up to date.

Using CakeSocial

  • CakeSocial is for planning, approving, and reporting on creator campaigns.
  • You may only access data you are authorized to view within your team or invited brand/agency collaborations.
  • You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access.

Content & Ownership

Creators retain ownership of their content. You grant CakeSocial a limited license to host, process, and display content and data you submit so we can operate the service. Agencies and brands receive access to posts they are invited to collaborate on.

Facebook (Meta), Instagram, and TikTok

If you connect Facebook (Meta), Instagram, or TikTok, you authorize CakeSocial to access those accounts through the platform’s official APIs. We store post URLs/IDs and performance metrics only for posts you connect to a campaign or publish through CakeSocial. You are responsible for complying with each platform’s terms and for ensuring you have rights to publish and share content and analytics.

CakeSocial is not affiliated with Meta, Instagram, or TikTok. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Fees & Billing

If you purchase a paid plan, you agree to the pricing and billing terms presented at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Termination

You may stop using CakeSocial at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if required to protect the service or other users. On termination, your access to the service and its data may end.

Disclaimers

CakeSocial is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be preserved without loss. Platform integrations and third-party services can change or become unavailable at any time.

Metrics, analytics, and reports may be delayed, estimated, or incomplete. You should not rely on them as the sole basis for decisions or compliance obligations.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CakeSocial is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or access to third-party platforms.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CakeSocial harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms or third-party rights.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting updated terms with a new effective date.
